Surnames: Cunningham, Powell, Roper, Johnson Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HKB.2ACI/2043 Message Board Post: Rosebud, Texas May 6, 1943 Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee (Powell) Cunningham, 69, who died in a Marlin hospital Sunday, were held at the Church Of Christ, Rosebud, Monday at 4 p.m. with James F. Fowler of Temple officiating. Burial was in the Powell cemetery near Travis with Nicholson Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Cunningham was born in (Marshall County) Mississippi April 13, 1874, and was a pioneer resident of the Barclay community. Her husband, J. R. Cunningham, preceded her in death in July, 1942. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. W.T. Roper of Rosebud and Mrs. Walter Johnson of Houston; two sons, James and G.B. Cunningham, both of Burlington; one brother, W.B.
