We are compiling a database for our chapter's 100th anniversary in 2007. John Bethune Dortch and Mary Pegues are the parents of a past member of ours -- Mildred Bethune Dortch Harris. She married a Theron D. Harris and resided in Canon City. Her lineage she used for the DAR goes through her mother's side and her DAR # is 96149. Our chapter has a copy of her application. We are needing her birth/death dates and place of death/burial. If she is buried in Colorado, we eventually plan to place DAR memorial markers on past members' graves. Any help you can provide me on the about information needed would be really appreciated.
