Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HKB.2ACI/90.911.1 Message Board Post: my great grandmother, elizabeth ann campbell was from jersey co. il. she married a pegues who came up the mississippi on his father's river boat to buy grain. they married and returned to his father's plantation which i thought was in louisiana. they had a boy and a and mr. pegues died and she returned to jersey co., il. she later married a widower named reddish. we are trying to find out where the plantation might have been and if mr. pegues had brothers or sisters. they were married in the mid 1800's. any info appreciated. e-mail me and i'll share what i have.
