There is an article about an abandon cemetery called Mt. Zion cemetery. In this article it list the inscriptions from the monuments. It lists Eli Jones - December 17, 1788 - October 15, 1872. Wife of Dica M. Jones, September 5, 1791 - November 5, 1855. "Old land records show that the Mt. Zion Church was established March 6, 1846, on a plot of ground of two acres deeded to 'The Trestees of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church', by Eli Jones. What I have on this family mainly comes in the way of decendents of Amariah (Jones) Freeman (daughter of Eli and Dica M. (Holt) Jones). I would be interested in sharing Info if you are interested.
