I thought the years could not be right; according to 1900 census, the birth year was 1819. No, I don't mind telling you that Charity Meak(Meek) was a black slave woman; her daughter, my great grandmother, Lydia(Liddie), was Maloto. As far as I know, great grandfather, Noah Wilson was black. If you there's any other info you find re: my family, please let me know. Bobby Mitchell gave location of New Hope Cemetary(T-6-S, R-3-W, S-18), but I have no idea where this is. There are other family members' burial plots I want to find. Thank you again. Judy.
Darrell, Saw your post on Marshall County List. What Wilson's are you speaking of? The Wilson's that married into the Norfleet family are white.
