in re:James Augustus Hudson & Olivia Beckett (Saunders) Hudson, have some prints from the photo shop apprx 1976, wonder if they still exist &/or other shops or depositories of old portrait negatives in Columbus? Am searching the yellow pages, but very curious to know if any libraries or museums have old negatives or prints on file? I know the newspaper morgue is at the library & wondered if they were able to also get pictures from any shops as they closed? Surely the families of these single proprietor shops sold, gave or donated the work to some institution or persons in area? Any ideas? I remember Shanks Photo Service but never heard of Hudson and Shanks. I knew Calvin Shanks and his wife. Calvin died. Don't know about his wife.
