Due to this change, there are several isssues that have come up that you (the researcher, and poster) need to be aware of. First, MyFamily.Com has put a copyright on all the postings that have already been submitted. If you choose to print a message, you will get a notice that the INFORMATION is copyright by MYFAMILY.COM and cannot be used without their permission. It doesn't say anything about the author, just the permission of MYFAMILY.COM. Ancestry's terms of agreement state that they can change their policies at any time. We've been discussing this for two days on the newbie list owner list. I personally am not posting till this is cleared up and am advising my list members to do the same. It would be sad to find later on that you couldn't use you own family Bible records because MYFAMILY.COM holds the copyright. They don't bother to put this forth when someone posts, only when they choose to print. Carol R.
