She had, William B. SMITH, born 26 Feb 1763 Moore, Cumberland Co., NC on colonial land records with witnesses and his wife listed. From there I went to the LDS www.familysearch.com web site and looked. There was a lot of submitters, but I zeroed in on one,a Kenneth Earl Smith Rt. 3 Box 74B, Brookhaven, MS 89601. I have not contacted him yet, but he seemed to have the most on that web site. Up until I did that, I or my father, had no idea of any SMITHs from or family living in MS. I am new at this and really just starting this side, my Dad's maternal side. So now that I have names, it is time to prove that they are siblings of Capt. Billy. I will keep in touch with the both of you and this query forum as I find new information.
