My great grandmother was Bertie May Newsom ( sorry no birthdates) her father was Samuel Newsom and mother Susan Marilla Blackmon b: Aug 9 1876, d: Apr 10 1894. I have information for the Blackmon side of the family, but not the Newsom. I know that they lived in Lawrence County around New Hebron. I also think that Susan Marilla Blackman may have died after giving birth to Bertie May Newsom, and that her husband Samuel Newsom may have married one of her sisters. The only sisters that I have for her are Willie Alma Blackmon and Annie Buella Balckmon. Any help on this link to the past will be appreciated.
