I was wondering if you ever made the link between Sara Jane Moore and ? Smithwick. My great-great-grandfather John Perry Smithwick lived in Lauderdale County in about 1850. I am looking for any information about him, his wife (Isabella) or his children (Thomas Andrew Jerfferson, Mary Isabelle, Edmond, Alex, Catherine, Ann, or Siebel Sarah) while in Lauderdale County, MS. Any information will be appreciated.

This is probably just a name coincidence, but I have a Sarah Jane MOORE who married my great grandfather, Jeremiah Bentley BOUGHAN, here in Clarke Co., MS, 19 May 1860...haven't found out if she died or what...gr-granddad BOUGHAN went to Civil War, made it back, and married again in 1866 (Isabella BURT). I have no info on Sarah Jane's ancestry.
