Could anyone tell me where the old Pigford family cemetery is. I have a map that shows it north of the Mt. Gilead church and cemetery. However there are no roads on this map. I have been told that there is a historical marker in Lauderdale County that tells that this is the place where Elizabeth Wells Pigford is buried. I thought that this might be the cemetery. I have visited the Mt Gilead Church but that is not where Elizabeth is buried. I saw a picture of the marker but the lady with the picture did not remember how to get there. We will be in Lauderdale County in several weeks and I would also like to find the Lockhart Methodist Church cemetery. I found this listing in a Lauderdale publication of the historical society in Volume one. Thank you very much. Helen from Houston, Texas
