The older Newtons were born in NC and the younger members in SC. A Nancy Newton who was born abt. 1774 in SC lived in the James Freeman household in 1850. Nancy's age was 76 in 1850. Was she the mother of James's wife Margaret?? Any help on learning more about these Newtons would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gwen
