He was also time keeper. When I was at the arkives last time they had all the city directorys. I was able to locate many places that were boarding houses. If there is someone in Meridian that will do look ups you might be able to see if your step grandfather was livling with family or in a boarding house. My Grandmother said a lot of the men would live with families around the yard. but those addresses are kind of far from where the round house was. Closer to where the depo was.
