My information is very sketchy ... but he had a son, William Benjamin Greer (my father's father). William Benjamin Greer is reported to have had a half brother named Robert. I have WBG being born in Meridian on 12/25/1871. WBG married Katie Carroll 3/17/1891 in Meridian. They migrated to High Springs, FL. WBG (and possibly DJG) worked for the railroad. Katie Carroll was also born in Meridian on 9/21/1872. Some of her ancestors may have served in the Civil War in Alabama. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has any information on the names mentioned here.
