They had 7 children: Annie Lee, Joe, Billy, Idell, Mary Lou, Tommy and Lucille. The siblings of Otto were:Lucille (Fox), Ida (Keith), Lee K., Thomas Eugene ("Gene"), Florence May ("Maidy"), Maude (Daniels) and Marcus Theodore. Otto was the son of Alice (Daniels) and Thomas Newton McMullan. Thomas Newton McMullan was a mayor of Hickory, MS at some point (according to his obituary) and later opened a mercantile store, McMullan & Sons. Do any of these names ring a bell for you? (I gave you the VERY abbreviated version!) Most of my ancestors are from Decatur and Hickory, but my parents were born and grew up in Meridian: Don Newton (son of Mary Lou McMullan and Fred Newton) and Coleta Farrell Newton (daughter of Leslie & Esther Farrell).
