Rainey in Upson Co., GA and moved to Lauderdale Co., MS by 1840. Both are buried at the private Miller Cemetery in Lauderdale. Catherine was born February 27, 1817, and died June 30, 1890. Her headstone reads: Our Mother Dearest, Catherine H. Miller, born February 27, 1817, and died June 30, 1890. Eli T. Miller was born in 1812 and died August 04, 1853. His headstone reads: Eli Miller, Died Aug. 4, 1853, Aged 41 years, Death wings triumphant o'er mankind, hope cheers the soul eternal bliss to find. (Photos of each headstone are available). George Wade KING This is the last child I show records for, being born to Eli and Catherine. Possible Corrections: Can you share your source for these following two children? 9.Mary Eva MILLER b. 1852 m. Joseph KELLY Note: I have no primary records of this individual being born to Eli and Catherine. 10.Charles W. MILLER b. 1854 - Note Eli died August 04, 1853. Although it is possible that Catherine was pregnant with this Charles when Eli died. I do have a Charles William Miller as the 4th child of Ely Hall Miller and Mary Minerva Sanderford. This Charles William Miller was born March 05, 1878, and died March 08, 1878 - living only three days. You ask: Who did these other children marry? Ely H. Miller married Mary Minerva Sanderford. This is the descendant line I have for which primary records and research. You ask: Who were the parents of Eli T. MILLER? I don't have this information "yet" - but I keep looking. I do have (and you may already have the info for Edmund Rainey and Pheby Slayden (Catherine's parents). I have found some information in the Early Records of Georgia vol1 and 2 - Page 448. There may be linkages between these Miller familiy names and Eli Miller's parents. Remember that Eli and Catherine were married in Georgoa, hence my search for records in Georgia regarding Eli's parents.
