    2. Elizabeth, this sounds like my family. My grandfather's name was Amos Bolivar Crane. His first son was born Andrew Franklin Crane, but he later changed it to Frank A. Crane. He was married to Azalea Pickett/Crane (second marriage). They had two children Andrew Frank Crane, Jr. and Ouida Crane. If you think this is the family that you are looking for, I would like to hear from you. How are you connected with this family? Jewel

    3. Howdy, Iva's parents would be listed on her death certificate. Texas began recording deaths at the state level in 1903. For a free lookup in the TX Death Index, go to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission web page. At the bottom of the page you can e-mail your request to them. If they find her, their response will also tell you how to get her death certificate. 3. Regarding this cemetery: Has anyone recorded the stones and photographed them before they are all lost? I am recording a cemetery in my city and photographing the stones. The data will be in book form and hopefully therefore preserved for the future. I had many family members who lived in Lauderdale Co. but I have not been able to locate any of their burials. Keep hearing about the cemeteries being destroyed. Please keep us informed as to the preservation of Stone Cemetery and its records. Thanks also for posting your message. 1. Cemetery
    2. Could anyone tell me where the old Pigford family cemetery is. I have a map that shows it north of the Mt. Gilead church and cemetery. However there are no roads on this map. I have been told that there is a historical marker in Lauderdale County that tells that this is the place where Elizabeth Wells Pigford is buried. I thought that this might be the cemetery. I have visited the Mt Gilead Church but that is not where Elizabeth is buried. I saw a picture of the marker but the lady with the picture did not remember how to get there. We will be in Lauderdale County in several weeks and I would also like to find the Lockhart Methodist Church cemetery. I found this listing in a Lauderdale publication of the historical society in Volume one. Thank you very much. Helen from Houston, Texas
