I’m currently looking for descendants of a Addison G. Burney that served in Co G, 11th Mississippi. According to his service records at the National Archives, Addison Burney enlisted on 23 February 1861 at Oxford, Mississippi as a Private - 18 years old. He died on 15 May 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia from wounds received on 12 May 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia.
