I am in search of any information on the families of (J.S., Josiah, Joseph) Ford, b. abt. 1823, of LaFayette County, MS. His first wife was Mahulda, according to the 1850 census. They were parents of my great-grandmother Tennessee T. Ford, b.1850, and her older sister Sarah, b. 1844. By the time of the 1860 census he was married to Ann E. and living with Tennessee, Sarah and two younger children, Percy, b. 1854 and Josiah, b. 1856. In the 1870 census Tennessee had married,2/11/1868, William J. Young, b.1843 had a child, John Smith Young, b. 1869, and moved to AR. I have several land transfer documents with the name J.S. Ford, some with the name Josiah S, Ford and a will that was written in 1896, probated in 1904, using the names Joseph S. and J.S. Ford. The information I have on my great-grandfather William J.
