    3. Hello, Jean. I don't have any personal knowledge of either family, but thought I'd offer a tid bit of information which I gleaned from the several books I have on Lafayette Co. According to one of the book, W. J. Young and T. P. Ford married on 11 February 1868 in Lafayette Co., MS. The marriage is recorded on page 271 of Marriage Bond Book 2. W. S. Burney, minister of the gospel, officiated at the marriage. In the will abstract book, there is the following entry: YOUNG, WILLIAM C., of Humphreys County, Tennessee Will - copy pa pages 47 - 53 Dated - 15 August 1848 Probated - Waverly, Tennessee, 4 September 1848, recorded Book G, pages 96 - 97. Names - Sons: John T. and Jacob M. Uinder 21); daughter Hester; father, James Young; brother, B. D. Young. Administrator - John T. Young Securities - James D. YOung; James J. Wilie Oaths - Willkins W. Waggoner, James S. Waggoner Note - In December, 1848, James D. Young was appointed administrator with John Crockett (Povall?) as securities. Recorded Book I (?), pages 124 and 125. In the book "Early Settlers of Lafayette Co., Mississippi" published by the Skipwith Hist. & Gen. Society, the name A. A. Young is associated with the town of Wyatt which was established circa 1833. The surname Young is associated with the town of College Hill in its beginnings. Perhaps these names will tie in with your reseach. Bill Ward
