His wife’s name was Malena. The 8 kids were McDonald 16, Ella May 15, Idella 12, Eva 9, Doyle 8, Floyd 4, Earl 2, and a 2 month old listed as “Babe”. Also living in the house was John King age 69, who was probably Malena’s father. He was there on the 1910 Census with wife Malena and now with 9 kids. The oldest kid, McDonald, was gone but 2 more had been born since 1900. The kids were Ella M. 25, Idella 21, Eva 19, Doyle 18, Floyd 14, Earl 12, Wes (this was the kid listed as “Babe” in 1900) 9, Claudis 8 and Tommy 5. On the 1920 Census he was still living in Lafayette County with wife Malena. 4 of the kids had moved out and the following 5 were living at home: Floyd 23, Earl 21, Wes 19, Claudis 17 and Tommy L. 15. William Malone must have died between 1920 and 1930. He is not on the 1930 Census, but T.L. Malone (Tommy L.?), age 25, is. And living with T.L. is his wife Mary 19, his mother Malena 68 and his brother Floyd 34. His full name was William Jefferson Franklin Malone. I believe if I can learn this man's ancestry it will help lead me to some information about my Great grandmother, Alice Mae Moman. If anyone reading this knows anything about this Malone family I would appreciate you sharing it with me.
