Harriet, Yes, I have the 2 revelant book. The Will abstracts cover the period 1836-1898 and the probate court records abstracts cover the period 1836 - 1858. I checked both books for the names you sent and did not find either of them; in fact, there were no PHILLIPS by that or any variant spelling listed in either book. Sorry for the negative news, but at least you have an answer and have eliminated another possible source.
