I am a direct descendent to Charley Gardner who's mother was Martha Jane Thomas who married first to William David James, Sr. and then to a Gardner, and I am trying to locate the link between my Gardner ancestor and the Gardner's that pioneered Lafayette County. If anyone has any information I would gladly appreciate it and try to help any others. I have all of the Gardner information from Martha Jane Thomas James Gardner and her descendents who moved to Pontotoc County. Thanks.
