Parthine was the daughter of Lemuel Merry Sledge and Nancy Jane Terry Sledge. They are both buried at the Williams Cemetery in Collin Co Tx. They had seven children: Lillie Mae, Minnie Lee, William Dock, Lenny Wesley, Curtin B., Susie Ethel, and James Harvey. Censuses" Pontotoc Co Ms in 1900, Collin Co Tx in both 1910 and 1920. I haven't tried to locate them on the 1930 census, but assume the are still living in Collin Co. I am a decendant of Lemuel Sledge through his son Magnus D.
