The story has it that Emit got as far as the Harmontown area in Lafayette County, MS where he met and fell in love with his Sarah Frances and that Alonzo went on to Texas. We know that Emit Reynolds Williams (1853-1917) married Sarah Frances “Fannie” Rayborn (1858-1921) in 1878 and that the couple had the seven children listed below. Both are buried in Free Springs Cemetery near Harmontown. Emit Reynolds Williams (1853-1917) married Sarah Frances Rayborn (1858-1921) Nov 7, 1878. Their children were: Christopher Columbus Williams (1880-1955) Pearl Williams (1881- ??)
