Could someone with access to records or books listing burials in Lafayette do a look up for me? I am specifically interested in a Matthew McCRARY (and variations in spelling such as McCrae, McCray, McCreary, etc.). We think Matthew died sometime between 1854-1860, and that he had moved into a shed behind the home of one of his sons. Perhaps he became ill in an epidemic and quarantined himself, but that is just a guess. It may be a long shot, but Matthew's widow, Eliza (Smith) McCrary appears in the 1860 census in Lafayette Co., so maybe they were living there when he died. Any help will be much appreciated. Harriet
