Thanks, Evie, for your post. Do you know anything about the Webb family that is buried in the Webb Cemetery? I believe Mary Sharp Webb and her two sons are buried in the Webb Cemetery. And, other Webbs as well. Mary's husband, Elisha Webb, was the great great grandfather of my husband. I understand Elisha was take as a POW in the Civil War and died in N.J. (Re: Lafayette County History book). I am trying to locate Elisha's parents. Thanks for any info you might know.
