Yes, I did make a typo, but not the one you think. The citation should read bond book 4, not 5. The entry in the bond abstract book reads E. L. Palmer, not H. L. And I checked all the other names on the census rolls but did not find them listed, plus I checked surrounding counties, to no avail. Another list subscriber just informed me that if they lived in the Paris area, many families were overlooked in the 1870 census, which could account for why I couldn't locate these people.
