Wm, It is good to see you back on the list. By the way, I am a member of the Skipwith Genealogy Society, and they are now charging for doing look-ups. I don't have the price information here at home but I am the Volunteer for Friday afternoons so I will see what the cost of look-ups are and place them on the Lafayette Co web site. Copies are 10 cents per page. If you own Lafayette County History book, look at the bottom of the article pretaining to your Waits family then contact the person who submitted the information about the Waits to be included in the book, althought it was published in 1989 perhaps the submitter is still alive. She may contact Joe or Rebecca Murphey at jmurphey@dixie-net.com for more information. He is president again and she is secretary. I am recording their Surname registrar for them this year. I am sure some of the broad members are members of this list . Perhaps they will reply to this. Thank You; Evie Crocker Paris MS Lafayette Co MSGenWeb Project. --- William Ward <spencer4488@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > If you do not get a reply with the answer you're > looking for, I suggest you send an SASE to the > SKIPWITH HISTORICAL AND GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, INC. > PO Box 1382 Oxford, MS 38655 > > with your query enclosed.
