Nancy thinks SALLIE ANN WEBB CROCKER'S father was JOHN WEBB of the Potlocona WEBB CEMETERY WEBBS. He and his wife Sallie Brown Webb are buried in the PARIS MEMORIAL CEMETERY. I am doing the local research for Nancy here in Lafayette County. I found the WEBBS in the Skipwith His/Gen Society 1984 publication of Lafayette County History. I could not find a daughter named SALLIE ANN WEBB although TOM aka John Thomas Webb's wife was Sallie Brown Webb. She was younger than Nancy's Sallie Ann Webb Crocker also John Thomas aka Tom Webb was only a year or so older than Sallie Ann Webb Crocker. The 1880 US Federal Census MS Lafayette Co list Sallie Ann Webb Crocker as being borm in ALABAMA, so the older SILAS WEBB you mentioned in this post could very well be our SALLIE ANN WEBB CROCKER's father since he was found in ALABAMA. Did he bring his family to MS. since SALLIE ANN WEBB and JAMES ALFRED CROCKER married in LAFAYETTE County in 1878? We thought Sallie Ann Webb was from Lafayette Co, now, I think she may have been in the northern part of Calhoun County. Can you do to help us here. Yes, I agree with you that the older Elisha and Silas are related most likely brothers. blessings evelyn
