A Descendant of Col. Samuel E. 3. Evie, Would you please give me the contact info for Col. Ragland's descendant that you spoke of below? I am still searching for the site of the old Washington Price plantation home and family cemetery. I have found a reference among the slave narratives at Ancestry.com that states that the Ragland incident took place at the old Price plantation. I am thinking that when Col. Ragland moved to Lafayette County between 1850 and 1860, he may have purchased some of the land from the Price estate and Colonel's descendant just may know where the old Price family cemetery is located. Thanks so much!
