Appreciate all the willingness and kindness of "all" who helped me find Wallerville.....I now plan to go to that area soon......I was needing information on the Nimrod and Caro Overby that lived in the area at the time.... I finally did go to the Union County Rootsweb site AND OFCOURSE it tells me all about it. Here's the link.....http://www.rootsweb.com/~msunion/index.html Just copy and paste it in you address bar.....If some one else wants to look at it....maybe I can save you a little time....Again I do thank Ya'll so much! following is what I found..... Union County, which was established July 7, 1870, during the reconstruction era, was named so because of the union of Pontotoc and Tippah Counties. It is situated in the northeastern part of the state between the counties of Tippah and Pontotoc, from which it was originally organized. In 1874 part of Lee County was annexed to it, thus making its present land area of 412 square miles.
