Hi Peggy....I can't help you with your family, but my grandfather married an Indian woman in Lafayette County in 1866. She was a Chickasaw Indian. I know there were a great many Chickasaws in that area. They originally came from the Northwest around Oregon and settled in the North MS area. You should be able to find a marriage bond or contract record in the county courthouse in Oxford, MS. That is where I found my grandparents. (Check all spellings, my grandmother whose name was Sinie was spelled Sirra, either their writing or their spelling wasn't as good back then) Sorry I can't be of more help but I'll keep the names on file and if I run across them in my research I will let you know.
