I checked both volumes of the Lafayette County cemetery books and did not find a Thaxton Cemetery. I also queried on the USGS GNIS geographical search engine for a Thaxton Cemetery in MS and no such site could be identified. Volume I of the cemetery listings shows 2 AARONs buried in the New El Bethel Cemetery, but their given names are Richare and Lillian, both born after 1900. Thanks William! Thaxton Cemetery is in Pontotoc County, MS. Located about 10 miles east of the Lafayette County Line. Pontotoc County Ms List has a link that shows the cemeteries of Pontotoc County. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mspontot/cemeteries/cemindex.htm scroll all the way to the bottom of this page...
