    1. [MSLAFAYE] Lee Family in Lafayette, Pontotoc and Yalobusha Counties
    2. James A. Ellard
    3. LEE, MORRIS, FLANNAGAN I am looking for an indian woman, probably Choctaw, named Sally, who married an older Civil war veteran named Lee around 1867 in Alabama. I do not know Lee's given name, but suspect it may have been Carrol. I do know that he had at least three sons before the Civil war, named William, Jim and Tom, from two pre war marriages. William had a store in Oakland City, Yalabusha County, MS, which he sold, and was moving to Oxford, Lafayette County, MS when he died. William MAY be William Mathias Lee, born Sept 29, 1844 in St Clair Co, AL. Jim Lee had two wives, both named Molly, and two daughters, one living in Oakland, and the other in Yellowleaf. Tom Lee died in Thaxton in the home of Andrew Carroll Lee. Sally had a son, Andrew Carrol Lee, and two daughters. One daughter, named Rebecca, married a Flannagan. After Lee died, Sally married a Morris and had a son named Albert. This family moved to Texas, but later moved back to MS at the urging of Andrew Carrol Lee, who lived in Randolph, Pontotoc County, MS in 1900 with his wife, Sally Belle Galloway, a daughter, Vera Lavert Lee, and a son, George. Any help in tracing Sally and Lee would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to learn as much about the siblings of Andrew Carrol Lee as I can. Jim and Catherine Ellard
