Seeking information on and contact with the descendants of the CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS COLEMAN family of Tula. C.C.COLEMAN, the son of BARTLEY COLEMAN, was born in South Carolina on Jan 14,1819. He married JANE BRYANT Nov 17, 1857. Sometime after their marriage they moved to Tula in Lafayette County where they raised 9 children MARIAH (died young) WILLIAM BARTLEY (m. Alice Gossett) MARTIN LUTHER (m. Rosa Mae Coffman) ONESIMUS C. "Oney" (m. Annie Bell Mize), NANCY ANN (never married) JOHN COLUMBUS (never married) SINNACAR GRADA "Grady" (m. Mary Hanks) CHARLES (m. "Shug" Mize) FLORENCE ETHER (m. William Franklin Abbott) my g-grandmother C.C. died in 1894 and his wife in 1914. Both are buried in the Tula Cemetery.
