... yes, if you're referring to the cemetery next to the Sand Springs Church in the former Orwood Community ... (from the Lafayette Co. web page: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mslafaye/xlaftown.htm ) "ORWOOD Located in the southwest corner of the county near the Panola County Line, this site was settled in 1839 but was not named for the Orr family until a post office was established in 1885. J. M. Daniel was the last postmaster when the office closed in 1905 and the community of Orwood became extinct." Since I don't know where you're coming from I'll explain it like this: Go east from Batesville, MS. on st. road 6 to st. road 315. Go south (right) onto st. road 315. Follow 315 several miles to st. rd. 328 and go left (your only choice). Follow 328 (not sure how far ... a mile or two I guess). Take the 3rd road on your left. No more turns. Just stay on this road until you come to the old Sand Springs Church (on your left) (a mile or two up this road). This is the location of the old Orwood community. The cemetery is just past the church on the left. M. Meadows ajnkh wrote: > Does anyone know the location of Orwood Cemetary in Lafayette County?
