Pine Flat Cemetery......going south on Hwy 7 from Oxford.....Turn left on Pine Flat Rd 1.6 miles south of the 7 & 9W split.......Cemetery on right about 1/2 mile Wilkes Williams Cemetery........Go same as above 1.6 miles from 7 & 9W split..Turn left at .9 miles. Follow blacktop 1.1 miles and you will see a white house with fence on the left. Cemetery is located about 1/2 mile behind the house. Pilgrims Rest..........Goring north from Bruce on 9 W Turn left on County Rd 371 (turn right if going south from Oxford) A few miles on the right you will see a pumping station for the Water association. Take 1st blacktop road past the pumping station. Blacktop ends and gravel begins. Stay on gravel road till you come to a 4-way STOP.......turn right.........Just a little way down this road you will see an abandoned church on left. This is Pilgrims Rest and the cemetery is in back. Paris Cemetery........Going north from Bruce on 9W turn right at the Lafayette/Calhoun County Lines, (turn left if going south from Oxford) Go approximately 3/4 miles till you come to a T in the road. Turn left at T and go approximatley 1 mile......Cemetery on right. I notice that two of these cemeteries have the same name as "communities" east of Bruce, MS on Hwy. 32. Does anyone know why? or if there is a relation.......They would only be about 20 miles apart the way the crow flies....Wonder if there were relations to people buried there and people living in these communities (Paris and Pilgrims rest)? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra F.
