Author: shapactek Surnames: Banks Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.mississippi.counties.kemper/1651/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have some information on William Thomas Banks born March 15, 1885 Mississippi, Ollie Banks born July 25, 1894,Enondale, MS. Walter Banks born 1889 died maybe 1985 in Nashville, TN. Also there are suppose to be two sisters a Goldie or Gala Banks born 1895 and Ruth or Ruthie born 1901. All children are suppose to have been born in Kemper County, around Enondale Village, MS. Their mother was Harriet Banks born 1864 in Mississippi. and died in Enondale Sept 10, 1918. they are listed as mostly mullato. My dilema is that I can't actually find where these brothers and sisters are actually related to each other. I have family members that say they are but no record to prove that they are. I found a Harriet Bank in the 1910 census for Kemper Co. with a Gala L and a Ruthia and Harriet matches the birth date i have for her. but I have never found Harriet Banks with any of the sons. So I was wondering if anyone might have any information about these people that could help me match them up. I have heard that Ruth Banks married Joseph Connors and I think she went to Chicago. Walter Banks married either Mattie or Hattie. William Thomas Banks married Lena Key, Ollie Banks married Mattie Parker, and Goldie married Osby Woods. But I still can't find most of these people and I can't find any of the sons leading back to Harriet Banks. I hope I am explaining this clear enough to make any sense. It would be nice to at least get some sort of start on their life from a young age. I have their father as William B. Davenport (white) born Marengo Co. Alabama but lived in Porterville MS and died there. Any help would be greatly be appreciated. Thank you Xzanthia Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
