The family of Henry S. Patrick and his wife, Betsy Hall. Henry was born 1826 in Alabama and Betsey was born in 1823 in North Carolina. It appears that they were married 1 Mar 1845 in Lauderdale County, MS. I find them on the US Census for 1850 in Kemper County, MS with one daughter, Susan who was born in 1845 in Mississippi. In late 1850, Henry Purchased land in Kemper County, MS. By the 1860 US Census, I don't find Henry but I have found Betsy, sons: Sam Henry (born 17 Aug 1857 in Meridian, Kemper County, MS and Peter Jackson born 15 August 1858 in Mississippi & a second daughter, Susan born in 1859 in Mississippi. It would appear that Betsy was the housekeeper for William Gurley. The spelling of Patrick on 1860 is Patric. 1870, I find sons: Sam H and Peter Jackson working as farm hands but have not found any other family members. There are many undocumented stories, it is possible that Mary and her family (married name unknown) moved to Texas her brothers followed. Have no idea what happened to Betsy or where Sam is buried. The sons, Sam and Peter move on to Palo Pinto, County Texas where they marry and move on to Oklahoma. Sam finally settles in Cleveland County, Oklahoma and Peter Jackson settles in Carter County, Oklahoma. Any assistance or clues would be greatly appreciated.
