His gr-grandfather was Edward Burton who married Ellena ?. Some of their census information is listed below. His grandfather was Egertis "Girt" Burton who married Mary Anna Parker. His gr-grandfather lived in DeKalb, while his grandfather moved to Meridian, Lauderdale County and married Mary Anna Parker shortly after his move. They married shortly before 1920. After Girt died, Mary Anna moved the family to Chattanooga, TN, probably in the early 1940's. Below is the census information that I have found. I am particularly interested in finding out who Edward's father was.
