Marr was born around 1816 or 1818 in Virginia, She married Benjamin Franklin Davenport and at some point moved to Marengo Co. Alabama where they had 4 children then they moved to Kemper County Mississippi where they had at least 5 more children. All this information I've found from the 1850, 60, 70, 80 census. What I'm looking for is information on where in Virginia Jane is from and who her parents were. They didn't seem to leave a trail from Virginia to Alabama. Does anyone have any information about who Janes parents are and where in Virginia they are from? I'm trying different counties and states, since I have no idea where in VA to look. I don't have any information about her parents either. Also I think she and Benjamin are buried in Porterville, Kemper, MS. Other members of the famiy are buried on the private family cemetery.
