Matilda was my great grandmother's sister (Lou Rea). Although I did not attend the 1980 reunion, there was a family reunion in the summer of 1980 in Birmingham, Alabama, of the Rea (Ray), Watson, Inge, and Ellington families. My mother and all of her sisters attended. The person who spearheaded that reunion was Carl Watson who lived in Chicago (sadly Carl passed away in 1994). There is going to be a reunion in August 2010 in Monroe, Louisiana, of the Calhoun family and its allied families. The Watson family (descendants of Matilda and Cap) is one of the connecting families. If you would like more information on this reunion, let me know and I can give you the name and email address for one of the people in charge of the 2010 reunion.
