    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: leeeeeeleeeeee Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.mississippi.counties.kemper/1645.3/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The book is also located in the Meridian Public Library in their Mississippi room. You cannot check it out, however you can make photocopies. Even if your family is not mentioned, the book has many pictorial references to the way of life in Kemper County in its early days. I found it quite fascinated and made many copies of various pictures I found of interest (ie downtown Kemper, a jail, stores in Dekalb, etc). Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If you would like to reply to them, please click on the Message Board URL link above and respond on the board.

    3. What other resources does the Meridian Library have on Kemper? I have been thinking of traveling to Kemper sometime for research and Meridian would be close enough to hit both places.
