There is an Elizabeth Perkins in Kemper County census in 1870 living with Willie Perkins, age 6, Archie Perkins, age 8. Head of household is Archie McKellar, age 47, born North Carolina, and a Sarah McKellar, age 67, born North Carolina. In 1880, Elizabeth, Willie and Archie Perkins are still living with Archibald McKellar, and Elizabeth is listed as his sister. There is another sister, Sallie, age 77, also. The Sarah McKellar in the 1870 census may be their mother, but more research would be needed. Sarah McKellar is also buried in Smyrna Cemetery, along with A. L.
