Phone calls should work here, as someone always answers the phone M-F, daytime, at least. Also, in small towns, the county clerk knows everyone, or at least how to find them. Try emailing her/him. If that fails, try snail mail. Don't forget to make it easy for them to answer you. Include a Self addressed, stamped envelope and any other thing you can think of that will make it easy for them to answer you. Good luck. If you are refering to the Zion Cemetery located behind the Zion Baptist Church located on West Zion Road, you may try contacting either: Ms. Janice Calvert Harrison 9306 Cole Road Meridian, MS 39307 601-483-3749 or Ms. Shelia Alawine Thead 10303 Wildcat Road Collinsville, MS 39325 601-986-2189 This contact information was good as of June 18, 2002 when they they made application to the US Dept. of the Interior to have the Zion Baptist Church included on the National Register of Historic Places.
