Hi Gail, Thanks for your reply! To my knowlege, she never lived in Alabama. She married and they are found in Madison Parish, LA (not far from the Miss. River). Then Red River Parish, LA...on to Robertson or Freestone Co., Texas (where Kinchen died in 1858). She and the children came back to Bienville Parish, LA. I don't have a picture of her, just her grave (on Find A Grave). I have never heard of any Greens. No problem with the questions. Thanks, Shirley In a message dated 2/15/2009 1:39:26 P.M. I found him after he married Lena Key but nothing before that. His brothers were born in Enondale MS, William being the oldest. His brother and sisters were, Walter, Goldie(sister), Ollie (brother) and Ruth (sister). His mom was Harriet Banks born around 1864 MS but I don't know where in Mississippi. I'm not sure if William was born in Enondale like the rest of his siblings. So I was hoping that someone might be able to find him before he was married. I'm having no luck at all. Thank you. I've ran across a family on our hunting land that we lease in the Moscow area of Kemper Co., MS. The surname is "Steele". The graves are VERY old and in the middle of the woods behind a very old home that is falling in. The graves are Lemuel Steele and Sarah.
