"Good day to you I would like to start by introducing myself. I am Lee Stanton and have been looking for info regarding my mothers family. After much digging I ran across your page and I must say it is the best page I have ever seen. You give a wealth of information and it is easy extremely user friendly. I am a professor at Colby collage in Waterville, Maine in computer SCI (Multimedia) I will be using your page as a good example of a web page. My mother's family were share croppers in Harriston, Mississippi (Jefferson co.) back in the 20's and I believe most of the 30's. I was told the owner of the property was Comfort the first name may have been Sis or that could have been a nick name. Is there any way of getting share crop information for that time? From what I have been told my Uncles got into some kind of trouble but that may have been a roomer. the last name I am looking for is any info on Smith (John, Marry) John Smith would have been born around 1900 give or take a year or two Marry Smith was born Feb 10 1900 or 1901.
