Ann, do you know what denomination this church belonged to? There was and still is an Ebenezer Baptist Church near Liberty in Amite County and the notes for this church are available online at Amite rootsweb site. I realize there where most likely many churches with this name. I've written to many of the different denomination historical libraries and found them most helpful. Most of them have web sites. All I have is that my husband's great grandfather Archibald David Vaughan was christened/baptized at Ebenezer Church. I assume since he was raised by his Aunt's family of Wise, it was Presbyterian as they were. ----- Original Message ----- From: "maryp" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: February 17, 2001 10:46 Subject: Re: [MSJEFFER-L] Ebenezer Church > Ann, do you know what denomination this church belonged to?
