John Wilks Hornsby b. 1797 Ga d. 1868 TX. married abt 1825 in MS: her aunt, Katherine Watts b. 1770 SC d. aft 1835 in MS m. Moses L. Hornsby abt 1791 in NC he was b. in 1759 in Jamestown VA d. 1837 in Covington Co. MS. Moses served in the Rev. War. The children of Katherine Watts and Moses Hornsby: Reuben, Marmaduke D.; John Wilks: Thomas M.; Felix F.; Moses Smith. These children all came to TX except Felix. They were pioneers of Texas and were well known Indian fighters they settled Hornsby's Bend in Travis Co. TX. My Kellys are James Washington Kelly and Elizabeth Clawson Kelly of Jefferson Co. MS> Abraham Kelly>Abraham Kelly> William Robert Kelly/William Eugene Kelly and then me. The Watts/Hornsby are maternal relatives, Kellys are on my father's side. Sally Kelly Etebari
